I came back!!

Today I've decided to dedicate this entry to those 16 ( I promise I can explain that number -_-) special girls that have put up with me Diva moments for the last couple of months and future months until THE day (boy do I NOT envy them). From the emails which go unanswered  to the pop quizzes (I promise I can explain that one!!!), to my many demands they still are hanging in there to share my special day. Who are these crazy lucky girls who have dedicated their life next months to me?  ROOOOOLLLLLL CALLLL



The Divas

There is:
Ashlea: my little sister who pays me or my emails NO mind. She REFUSED to take my pop quiz last month!

Keneta: my BFF whom been embarrassed by me since high school and all the way through college HA, it'll take her to tell you the stories (the stories that better not come forth in her speech at the reception).

LaCondria: ACWs big sister who better watch out bc a new daughter is coming through LOL.

Ivory: (BIGGGGG DEEAANNNN) my BFF who has been down since Westover (band, 10th grade chemistry, bessie lue, and big blue) and whom is no longer welcome to my house when she visits ATL ;)

Felicia: (Baby Mama) my BFF down since Westover day's as well.  Ya'll thought I was a Bleep, well this one tops all lol.

LaShawnda: (my Ride or Die Chick) another one who has been in there since Westover. If there was a female version of Bonnie and Clyde, we'd be them.. Did I mention she has 5 kids (insider) LOL

Kandice: We go waaaayyyyy back to the Merry Acers days.  Between her, her sister Kristen, and me smh we ran Partridge Ln.

Candice: (My MD in progress) Georgia State BFF... Believe it or no we didn't like each other when we first met, but when we did finally link up there was no separation from there.

Latronda: (Wife of 3000) My dear dear Tronda, this girl have been keeping me up on life since Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) days. If ever you need to get something done look her up and it WILL get done... We always get mistaken for sisters (even my mom thought she was me at graduation... my mom!!) BTW she made a 100 on my pop quiz!!

Ebony: (The Queen) Eb always has something for me to do, I didn't know what bored meant when we were in grad school (MSM)... Of course I didn't know how it felt to have money in my pockets either bc she always kept me up on the trends.

Sonya: (my Trini-mistress) Since meeting when we were interviewing at MSM when you see me you see her.. me, her, and weezy were a triple threat at MSM.

Kristen: Remember her, Kandice sister, we were often mistaken as sisters as well. This girl will put anyone in there place when she get to snapping them fingers to the beat of saying her whole name, RUN!!!!

Teneca: (Scooter), my cousin.. growing up we were the 3 stooges, always getting into something. Of course she was the youngest and the baddest lol.

Lakesha: My cousin and the other member of the 3 stooges.

Gebrayla: Another cousin, don't be fooled she may be the youngest but she too will but you in your place too. She's my cool buddy that I call sometimes to tell and get the latest word on the street.

Kenosha: Yep, you guessed it another cousin. The big cousin that the 3 stooges got a joy out of aggravating growing up haha... I know she loved every moment of it though *winks*

Yep, that's them, all 9 bridesmaids, 6 hostess, and a lovely singer ;).  

What did you say? Where tha Heck have I been? ummmm

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah... I know I know I know... *rolls eyes* I should have known this would happen when the idea of my own blog ran across my head. I love to read other people blogs but writing my own....... ummm yeah. But any who, Happy Thanksgiving!!! Merry Christmas!!!, Happy New Year!!!, and Happy Birthday to me!! ha I could recap on everything I've neglected to blog about missed but I'll save your time and mine. Sooooo *taps fingers on desk* whats' new you may ask or not ? Welllll...... may age for one I'm now twenty Bleep (closer to 30 than I've ever been in my life), I've been working my bleep off at the gym now (one day I woke up and realized September 22 will be here like tomorrow, not really tomorrow but you get my drift, and you have a weight goal that you are nowhere close too EEEEEKKKKKKKK!!!!!! So since then, I've been sweating it out 5 to 6X a week for 1 1/2 hours, Whew... and FINALLY after a month I'm starting to see micro body changes such as an inch here and inch there, a pound here, a pound there. my thigh muscles are like steel thanks to an hours work on the StairMaster and my butt... well lets say it is HAWT!!! I hate to toot my own horn but TOOT TOOT!!

So what's going on with the (don't you DARE say it) WEDDING (ahhhhhhh you said it) plans??

Yeah...... that's exactly what up with it!! I'm excited and all but these 226days can't get here quick enough. I've realized im not the OMG I'm getting married type, umm ok, well not ALL the time but sometimes. I'm more of the OMG I'm getting married I'm sooooo excited BUT I dont wanna spend the time planning it.. I secretly wish on that special day I just wake up and everything is how I imagine it to be with little wellll no effort from my part.

Is it JUST me or are any other brides like that?

I said yes to the DRESS!!!!!

Yep Yep, it's true this weekend I said YES to the debt DRESS!! And boy let me tell you it's the best feeling I have had post my engagement. Who knew one little simple card swipe  word was all it took to get me excited about my our wedding. I know your yelling PICTURES PICTURES, I would be too, but just to keep you in suspense but really to keep the future (Mr. ACW) from just so happening to run across them, I need to keep them under lock and key. Trust me though, the dress to die for! I will give you a hint.. it matches my personality.

So besides my dress, which was the total highlight of my weekend, the beau came up and we had so much fun! He shopped, I watched, we ate, we drank, the usual. We went to the local bar and I won BINGO!! I know, I know, that doesn't sound like too much fun, I agree. But when we're together we are the funnies ppl alive. At least that's what I think. Oh, I forgot, we started our wedding registry. HEADACHE. ughhhhhhhhhh, All im going to say is I'll be doing the registry alone next from here out.

I'd like to dedicate this post to Toby, my dog. Just because you're still getting to know me and bc he stayed in hiding under my sister's bed the ENTIRE weekend bc he fears his dad, Mr. ACW. haha

Confessions of a SLEEPoholic

WOOOHOOO 2 days of blogging in a row *taking a bow*. I could really get use to this.
Before I begin I interrupt this program to sayy.......................

HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!! to ALL the Veterans who protect our country!! Thanks Daddy :) (He's one too)

and also to say am I the only one who doesn't seem to care that today is 11-11-11?!?! I mean sure its neat and all and sure I won't ever see 11-11-11 again in my life but who cares, I also wont ever see 09-24-86 which is just a random day, which I probably can't remember anyway bc I was ummmm 1, ever again either.

Any who, back to our originally scheduled program
I figured since you are still getting to know me I'd let you in on a lil confession: My name is Andre'Nita,ughh, Checoby Toson and I am a sleepoholic. Yep, it's true. If I had it my way I'd sleep my entire life day. When I sleep I go on vacations, I go to haunted houses, sometimes I go to work, etc. Sleeping is my poor girl's getaway. Yeah, sooooo that's me.

Stay tuned for tomorrow to see if my BFF (KWB) and sister (ACT) can convince me to finally say yes to a dress for this wedding thingy ma jig. If you're reading this HEY ERIN, she's my little white  nearly black friend/co worker. Hope you and your mom are having the best hangover time at Disney World, ill be looking for scarfs and flats!!

Intro, Intro, Intro, Introducing....................

Hello Everyone,

I've been thinking of creating this for a while now. After reading the entertaining blogs of two people I know I decided to just do it. Kinda surprising of me because I DO NOT like the write and I don't consider my life as interesting  entertaining. We'll see how this goes.....

Anywho, sooooo I was born and raised in Albany, GA (hence the title Southern Pearl, which by the way I feel I am. Everyone knows southern women are  snooty dainty hehehe). I moved to Atlanta, better known as the ATL, right after high school an attended Georgia State University (grad in 2007), worked a lil, then went back to school to Morehouse School of Medicine for a Master in Public Health in Epidemiology (Don't ask). Which brings me to now November 10, 2011 sitting in my office at Emory's School of Public Health being moved from one project to another WAITING for my dream job to call back all while trying to plan my wedding putting me in more debt to marry my high school not so sweetheart (see below) hehe. *exhales*  

For those of you still reading, THANKS! I may not be as boring as I thought. For those of you who have clicked off EHHH told you. Here I will display what's to come in my life, you'll find out when I do.
